Jacqueline Alwill’s Delicious Banana Chia Cacao Jar

(Serves 1)

3 tbsp (50g) chia seeds
1/2 cup (125ml) almond milk
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp maple syrup
1/4 cup natural, low fat dairy yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
1/2 (40g) banana
1/2 cup berries


  1. In a bowl or jar, mix or shake chia, milk, vanilla, cacao, rice malt and allow to set for 10 minutes then mix or shake again.
  2. Cover and place in fridge to set over night.
  3. Serve topped with natural yoghurt, berries, extra banana and cacao nibs.
